why .io?

What does .io mean to the great library?

First off it’s critical that we understand the high level domains of today preclude .com’s being the only interesting choice unless you are delivering something to our door steps using our credit card information. (American here and I’d like to know what people outside of America think about this problem.)

Here is the real answer. Domain names are badly squatted. A digital property with a large barrier to entry is for the amazons, googles, and for other shortname, buzzword nonsense companies which popped up in the .com space after cybersquatters chewed up the space.

Of course those old .com and .net domains will have their value when its easier to buy and sell them directly.

That’s the reason why the .io space is the choice right. It easier to get started on your official site with a .io than on .com so don’t listen to anyone who says .io means other than official. Opeansea.io, dragoncrypto.io, the list goes on and on.
