Has Donald Trump Been Replaced by a Chat Bot?

It’s co close the real thing, I can’t hardly tell the difference!

The idea that former President Donald Trump could be substituted with a chatbot might have seemed far-fetched a few years ago, but read the following quotes and tell me you can tell which are fake and which are real?

  1. “They just told me about this new tech, it’s called the Internet of Things. I said, ‘Hold on, so my refrigerator is chatting with my toaster now? Next thing you know, they’ll be planning a kitchen coup.’”
  2. “I’ve got it, the solution to climate change — we just turn up the air conditioning. Crank it up, folks! Cool the whole planet down. It’s so simple, I can’t believe nobody else thought of it.”
  3. “We’re going to build a resort on the Moon. It’s going to be the best, most luxurious space resort. And for every lunar condo we sell, we’ll throw in a free asteroid. It’s time to make the galaxy great again!”
  4. “They’re saying now you’ve got to walk 10,000 steps a day. I said, why walk when we can ride? I’m bringing back horse and buggy. It’s going to be huge. Horses love me, they told me so.”
  5. “We’re going to make education so good that our kids will be too smart for school. They’ll go straight from kindergarten to the boardroom. They’ll be making deals in finger paint.”
  6. “I just heard that they’re making burgers with plants now. Can you believe it? Plants! I said we should go the other way — make plants out of beef. Imagine a beefsteak tomato. It’s actual beef.”

As some of you may have guessed, all six quotes are made up. If you believed even a single one real, then congratulations you are most likely normal and view Donald Trump through the lens of his rhetorical style and not purely based on his substance.

That substance is of course of a strongman. When you take away all of his showmanship you will realize there nothing left but a naked desire for wealth, fame, and power, the things wannabe strongmen crave.
