The Age of the Last Man

Let us find a path for all parties to live in peace and harmony. Men in the west and in the east agree to some things. For one, the expansion of western alliances threaten the victory for Russian forces undergoing military training and exercises in adjacent Ukraine. We must accept and should call this Hitler’s Revenge.

Verily. But also know only the gods may play All-Or-Nothing and not be like Prometheus with his weird fire, glowing green and impossible for fool men to control. Men are not gods. We do not wield godly powers of omniscience, omnipotence, nor do we have some grace about us from beyond this earth. Ours is the touch of men and we as such must remember that.

So in my ignorance I have become strong and fought the gods and in my foolishness, and still I fight them and their laws. And yet it is as just and as right to fight the wrong laws of men. But in that poisonous pill we must be vigilant, we must be wise, we must be everything else as well as the fool if we hope to fight when the gods returns and have their ways with us. So know when we of the west turn from our bacchanalia to parties unknown to us, we turn with a western eye, slow and methodological, filled with doubts and oozing with lecherous greed and self interest. Trust is earned and words however sweetly spoke may pull at us like a torturer’s hook evil and grim with colors of havoc and death. When our minds stir from our pleasures and forces us to take stock of ourselves and of our ways they come with ruin and disrepair across the globe. We see that we are not under attack alone and that we have been selfish in our accumulations of gold, grain, and guns.

We see now as we are forced to give them away. We were foolish to not mobilize our capital resources more strategically against revenge and malicious barbarianism. We did not know the endgame is no different than the beginning. The early civilizations act to weed out the barbarians, pilfering them for their people, treasures, and technology.

Those are the three powers of man: Science, Culture, Government.

Let this be truth spoken to power. If your men act like barbarians in this age of the Last Man, ask yourself are you the barbarian to be stomped out? And if you are, ask yourself if you to be crowned the holiest emperor on earth, king and blessed of the gods and messengers. Because only if playing on the highest difficulty would one not be winning right now. Last I checked the safest place to be located a capital is where the dinosaurs last walked the earth, not on a large mass of land. So know this, in time, the barbarians of the interior will be suppressed.

Know this too. If western leaders fails to act, the people will act of their own accord against barbarism. It is why we have government in the first place. It is an strategy in the beginning game to allow one of your towns to be attacked by barbarians in an attempt to force out an leader and produce a wonder of the world akin to pyramids.
