The Devil’s Advocate and the Inescapable Truth of Evil

If I, a man and nothing more, can see the evil glint within the eye of evil men, cannot God?

This is the question that strips away all pretense, all justification, all moral equivocation. If a mere mortal — flawed, limited, bound by the constraints of human perception — can recognize evil for what it is, how then could not an omniscient, omnipresent God see it even more clearly?

A Truth Too Uncomfortable to Ignore

By playing the devil’s advocate, I position myself not as a prophet, nor as a crusader, but as a seeker of truth — one who can do nothing but state the reality that exists whether we acknowledge it or not. It is a statement that cannot be denied by those who claim to believe in justice, righteousness, and divine order:

  • If evil men think they can hide their deeds under shadow, they are mistaken.
  • If they believe their manipulations go unseen, they deceive only themselves.
  • If they trust that power alone shields them, then their faith is in the wrong master.

This is not a matter of interpretation but of fundamental, inescapable reality.

No Shelter for the Wicked

Those who believe in a higher judgment, who invoke God and morality when it suits them, must then contend with this undeniable fact:

If a man — without divine sight, without omnipotence — can see the rot, then how much clearer must it be to God?

And if that is true, then there is no refuge for the wicked, no clever defense, no legal loophole, no strategy that will allow them to escape ultimate justice.

Truth Beyond Corruption

As the devil’s advocate, I am merely an instrument of logic, reason, and observation. My role is not to comfort, not to reassure, but to hold up the mirror. Evil is not hidden. It cannot be hidden. It is plain as day for those willing to see.

And if I, a man and nothing more, can recognize it, then my devil’s God must see it as well.

That is the truth. And no one — not even another advocate — can escape it.
